Carol Semple-Marzetta
Name:
Carol Semple Marzetta
Born: Feb 23, 1966
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 126lbs
Measurements: 36-24-35
Carol started gymnastics
at the local YWCA at the age of 10. Moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Denver,
Colorado in 1976 with her family. Carol's original goal was to compete
in the Olympics in Gymnastics. But she was diagnosed with Osgood Schlateer's
disease, which meant for a while, her bones were growing faster than the
muscles. Coupled with the fact that it was financially hard on her family,
the dream soon gave way. Her gymnastics dreams also gave way when she was
involved in a car crash on May 23, 1983, which injured her knees, her back,
and her neck. During her 20's, she worked as a fitness instructor at the
local Holiday Spa. One day while training, she spotted some information
about the Ms. National Fitness competition, and started training for it.
The rest is history. In January 1999, Carol had back surgery to repair
a herniated disc. Also, in 1999, Carol has her own line of supplements
out, called KISS (Keep it Safe and Semple).
